Plant a song where you stand.
Find the ones left nearby.
Meadow is a native iOS app for leaving songs in real places, and finding the ones other people left behind.
Plant
Leave a song
Choose a track, drop it where you are standing, and add a note for whoever finds it. A favourite corner becomes a small discovery waiting for somebody else.
Plant as many as you like during the beta. Seeds expire, so the map keeps changing.
Discover
Walk a little closer
A seed shows up as a mystery within 500 metres, and stays one until you are within 50 metres of it. Get that close and it opens into the song, the note, and the person who left it.
No browsing distant streets from the sofa. The place is the point.
Collect
Keep it in your garden
Stand within 50 metres, hear the preview, and take it. It joins a garden that remembers where every song came from, long after the seed itself has expired.
Unlimited collecting and no garden cap.
Drive it yourself.
Try it out here. Walk on a map, find what people left, and plant one of your own seeds.
